Senior National Account Manager

An exciting opportunity to manage Professor Puzzle’s leading account.

We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior National Account Manager to join our successful team. Based in our Twickenham office, the ideal candidate will have a background in FMCG and a proven track record in building and developing buyer relationships and delivering bespoke product ranges. You will need to enjoy a fast-paced environment, bringing teams together to deliver commercial product ranges through collaborative working.

Skills and Experience:

– Proven experience in a senior account management role within consumer products, retail, or a product-led environment.

– Must have experience working with buyers at leading key accounts, ideally within the FMCG space.

– Experience with private label / bespoke sales.

– Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving profitable growth.

– Confident managing complex accounts, long sales cycles, and cross-functional stakeholders.

– Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and critical path management skills.

– Strong communicator, comfortable leading meetings and influencing both internal and external partners.

– Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable making decisions in a fast-moving environment.

– Experience managing and supporting junior team members is highly desirable.

Key Account Management & Retention

– Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, delivering outstanding service throughout the order lifecycle.

– Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, competitor activity, and market dynamics.

– Act as the main point of contact for allocated accounts, ensuring a proactive and solutions-led approach.

Commercial Performance & Profitability

– Own account profitability, negotiating costs internally and externally to meet agreed margin targets.

– Ensure all commercial terms (pricing, discounts, delivery terms, rebates, payment terms) are accurately reflected in costings.

– Maintain a commercial mindset when assessing new opportunities, product ranges, and category expansion.

Sales Analysis & Forecasting

– Present seasonal performance reviews covering sales, pricing, and product performance.

– Use data and insight to inform future ranges and seasonal planning.

– Adjust forecasts throughout the season, contributing to monthly and quarterly sales reviews.

Customer Presentations & Meetings

– Lead customer meetings independently, confidently presenting brand positioning, product ranges, and USPs.

– Deliver compelling product presentations to maximise sales and strengthen long-term partnerships.

Project & Critical Path Management

– Act as the central link between sales, product development, design, logistics, and production teams.

– Own critical path management for accounts, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are met.

– Manage customer purchase orders, ensuring alignment with agreed pricing, quantities, timelines, and specifications.

– Oversee product sign-off at all stages, from concept through to production, ensuring quality and commercial viability

Junior Designer

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Designer to join our dynamic team. Based in our Twickenham office, the ideal candidate will have a good understanding of graphic design, will be organised and efficient, as well as have the ability to pick up new tasks quickly. They should enjoy a fast-paced and open office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

– Identify key design trends.

– Review critical dates to ensure deadlines are met.

– Produce mock ups and photography.

– Create visuals, presentation boards and Style Guides.

– Accurately apply in-house or customer style guides to product ranges.

– Prepare print-ready files for factory.

– Make changes to artwork where needed.

– File artwork files on the server as directed by the Design Manager.

– Liaise with factories to check and approve JPEGS for pre-mass samples.

– Photograph items for catalogue, pre-mass website and social media.

– Check pre-mass samples with product development, marketing and sales teams to make sure products are perfect for mass production. Check colour matching, print registration and cutter-guides.

– Produce sell sheets, trade fair information, any other marketing materials as required.

– Support other members of the team with mock ups, presentations, preparation etc.

– Complete any ad hoc tasks as requested.

Requirements:

– Ideally Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design or related subject, or experience that covers 3 years in design.

– Evidence of packaging experience – either university project, self-directed projects or at a job.

– Experience in print design.

– Knowledge and understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.

– Basic photography skills.

– Good sense of colour, layout, composition and typography.

– Ability to follow brand guidelines and visual consistency.

– Understanding of consumer behaviour, shelf impact and the commercial awareness.

– Attention to detail.

– Good communication skills for working on projects with multiple teams.

– Good time management, organisation and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

– Thrive in teams that move quickly and focus on delivering results.
