We are looking for a talented and motivated Product Developer to join our dynamic team. Based in our Twickenham office, the ideal candidate will be confident at communicating with different teams, have keen attention to detail, and should enjoy a fast-paced and open office environment. They will be responsible for developing original ideas as well as giving new life to our existing products.
Key Responsibilities:
– Own the product lifecycle from original concept idea through to a functioning pre-production sample
– Cleverly reimagine current products and find new ways to present in various looks and price points
– Create comprehensive briefs for design and content teams
– Specify and request components and white box samples, and order product and packaging samples
– Negotiate with suppliers to hit optimum price and target margins
– Sign-off on artwork before final upload and progressing to pre-production samples
– Review product content with internal content team and action amendments
– Attend customer meetings where required
Requirements:
– 3 to 5 years working for a consumer product company
– Effective at problem-solving and troubleshooting
– Experience working with product portals or other types of databases
– Experience working with Chinese suppliers helpful
